2016
Founder Nitish Garikoti graduates with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from IIT Hyderabad and begins his career as an ML Engineer.
2021
Nitish earns a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, deepening his focus on applied machine learning.
2022-2024
As a Senior AI Engineer, Nitish leads the design of a conversational AI platform for cybersecurity risk management, pioneering early production use of LLMs.
2024
Nitish becomes a founding LLM Data Scientist at a fintech AI company, architecting agentic, retrieval-augmented systems serving tens of thousands of queries per day.
2026
HiPo is founded by Nitish Garikoti and Nicole Hawks Garikoti in High Point, NC, bringing enterprise-grade AI, software engineering, and data consulting to growing businesses.
